Break in opinions...
Well...I just finished building a new motor for my car, to say the least, it's cost me a fortune, from darton sleeves down to Toda Spec-C cams. I'll be finished putting it in the car, hopefully by the end of this coming month given the time. For years I've been breaking in my motors very nicely and not beating on them at all until I get some miles on them...recently I just read an article that I thought was interesting, and now makes me wonder what I should be doing...perhaps some opinions, both personal, and on this article would be appreciated.

rev the car with napa 30w non detergent oil for 30 min at 2500rpm then when the white smoke clears drain fluid replace with regular 5w30 and new filter drive around the city for about 500-1000 miles stop and go no steady RPM freeway driving and you should have nice tiight sealed rings
