am i hurting my turbo w/ my exhaust setup?
from the 2.5" downpipe, to 2.25" custom piping(no cat), 18" resonator and 00si stock muffler. i will be istalling an exhaust cutout(just open it when im at the track and leave it close for daily commute) my car is really quiet and i actually hear the turbo spool, actually the loudest part in my car would probably the BOV.

yes, open that sucker up and get a 3" .. woah look at this. ill be darned you can find 3" exhaust pretty cheap and at best quaility at this website, i happen to have on hand

I must say I ordered an exhuast system from KTeller8 and the quality was very nice! If you are looking for some custom piping I recomend him.

What kinda problems does the 3" exhaust have with a rear sway bar? I have an EX and am thinking of getting a 3" exhaust and put on an SI rear sway bar.

... i am wondering the same thing... i am considering the st00pid/cheezefrog exhaust setup (stock exhaust -- e-cutout -- 3" open dp)... and i was wondering if the excessive back pressure caused by the stock exhaust could be damaging to the turbo... anyone know?... st00pid/cheezefrog said that it limited their max boost and spool up... but they never mentioned anything about possibly causing damage to the turbo... anyways, let us know... thanks...

Restrictive exhaust wont hurt a turbo, just the power output.
Kteller8's exhaust systems are awesome! I have a friend with the 3" on his turbo crx and a customer that has a 2.5" on his b16 EK. Very nice quality and you cant beat the price for stainless. He has awesome customer service as well....from a purchase I made for my personal car.
