First off, the T1R exhaust N1 Style is NOT 2.5". However, the NEW T1R exhaust is full 2.5". If you want the N1 can, you have to get the 2.35" ID T1R b-pipe along with the older T1R axle back (N1).

The N1 style is LOUD. period. I netted 7whp and 5wtq with the exhaust so I am happy.

Cliff Notes-

Old T1R
-N1 Style
-2.35" ID
-LOUD as a mother
-Optional Ti can
-Full SS

New T1R
-Fujitsobo like sound
-2.5 ID"
-20-30% quieter (right?) than the older version
-Full SS

The Type One is very loud its getting on my nerves lately lol especially driving long distances. but the power is there lol Vtec screams now lol and traction is a issue. but i only have the axle back and had the rest built out of 2.5 piping from the cat back. i like the looks and the idle but the noise of it gets to me.

How loud is the T1R compared to the Spoom M1?

Spoon has the high pitched raspy kinda sound. The T1R is a clean deep note. Anyone that has heard my car will tell you it does not sound like your typical Honda. The dyno video of my car does not do the sound justice.

I think you are thinkin backwards here. The spoon n1 is not high pitched and raspy at all. The T1R on the other hand is... That **** has that whiney popping sound. I've heard a few people wit the T1R and its definately not deep like my Spoon N1. Don't believe me, watch my video clip of Spoon. You guys can decide for yourself.

Dynamix:

I don't know where you heard yours, but I heard a hatch with a jdm R motor and spoon N1 with no cat. Very high pitched in Vtec and a little bit raspy due to the B-pipe. I have the T1R header and N1 and this is the deepest sounding exhaust bar none. This is the old version, do not get it mixed up with the new version that does not fit. I will have more vids come June 14th. The car sounds insane. Of course all of are cars sound high pitched in vtec but the T1R really makes it sound aggressive and mean. And no I apparently don't have it backwards because I have heard both next to eachother and both cars had full 2.5 inch piping from the header the the exhaust. So yes I know what I am talking about.

And of course we are talking about how it sounds on an R motor right? I know for a fact that Gs-R's do not sound the same.

The new T1R is actually 2.5" OD, not ID.

A word of advice, try to push AJ to pack the rear section nicely. When I first recieved my exhaust, the tip was badly dented through shipping, it had minimal packing. Between the initial shipping of the first exhaust and the second exhaust, nearly 2-1/2 months had gone by. I was not a happy customer.

I have yet to put on the new cat-back, so I can't comment on fitment yet.

Well last week the porter at the car wash I go to pointed out the fact that the tip of the exhaust, which has been off center since the install, has mildly discolored the paint around the bumper where it sits next to. It's not that bad yet, and I haven't been able to get a decent picture of it, but looking at it in the right light you can totally see what it's doing... Which has me blazingly pissed off. I can deal with rattles, I can deal with crooked fitment. I draw the line at parts that damage my car.

The 'next shipment' comes in Mid-Late June... Meaning I'll probably recieve my replacement in early July. I feel like I'm dealing with people on ebay, instead of the companies everyone raves about for having such great customer service, etc. *sigh*

Its not a "Snap your Fingers" Solution. The problem had to be found with the Jig that the few faulty exhausts came from, Fixed Jig, New exhausts made, Sent over Via Ocean freight (Aprox 4-8 weeks), Customs (1day - 1 week), To the customer (1-5 days) All that time adds up but its not something that could have been solved and replaced in a week. A&J has offered to not only replace the Few faulty systems but to also refund the price of removal and reinstallation. Those waiting on Warranty Replacements will see them sometime in June. Shipment is expected Early-Mid June.
