Spoon Springs - awesome albeit a bit pricey but worth every cent. Im changing to coilovers soon though but I'd say these springs are the best ive tried (I've also tried my mates Tein S Tech on his DC5R).

The spoon site states a 25mm drop (If i remember right) but since our AUDM sussy is different (AUDM underbody is higher off the ground) so in affect the drop is more along the lines of ~40mm.

Anyway here is a pic:

2-3 inches is a HUGE drop. I'd go with 2" tops, especially since it sounds like you're gonna be using your stock shocks. You are gonna blow your stock dampers real quick with that big of a drop.

There are 2 types of coilovers...the coilover sleeves like GroundControl/Skunk2 and then there are the coilovers which include shocks/struts. The GC/Skunk2 will run you about $300, and the full coilovers will be $1500 and up.

I've heard that the GC rattles a lot, so you might want to look into that before you buy.

I'd suggest the Eibach Sportline drop

Do not go pass a 2 inch drop unless you plan on spending more money on shocks. I see you are from La, and I have been there plenty of times with my RSX-S lowered on skunk2's which I had at a 2.5 inch drop and let me tell you I hit every bump and curb out there. The most you should do is a 2 inch drop. And with that much of a drop you will need a camber kit for the rear.

You can go with a coilover set up like Skunk2 or ground control which run around 300+. Or if you have the cash you can go with a complete coilover set up like I did. ( Tein Flex)

Well what ever set up you go with bro make sure you consider the area in which you live in. To low of a drop and a shitty road will kill your car fast. Good luck bro.
