i was just wondering for the time your car is primered, i know it shouldn't be long, but sometimes bills come up and your car ends up being primered longer than you think... well do you wash it? i mean i know bugs and stuff get on it when you drive around. wouldn't washing it take the primer off??

 

I would say a 3m scotch brite pad and some soap
In high school i drove a slammed turquiose primered s-10 and it got dirty QUICK.
I just used a gray scotch brite pad until i could afford to put a sealer primer would looked alot better, then got it painted.
Red scotch brite pads will work but gray arent as aggresive and won't take any primer off.
Just washing wont remove primer, only sandpaper
Try it see how ya like it.
