Without having to go through a Hondata tuner/dealer

 

Try the little red button thats suposed to come with it.

 

Correct, there is a red button that can control the rev limit, and vtec cross over. Hook up the button, read the instructions on hondata's website on how to set it properly and you should be fine.

On the 2b you can do it through the button im sure...But On the s200 i think you have to do it with a laptop or through a dealer...There has to be an alternative tho

if your vtec is set too low, and you don't need that setting most of the time, you could burn another chip with higher vtec - i'd only use whichever one was dynotuned, but thats an option..

 

Correct, the S200 doesnt have the red button. If you have the red push button then you must be old skool.

 

Yeah you guys are right, I am thinking of the older 2b systems. I have tuned two of them in the last three days, so I am so used to looking at the red button's.

 

A red button came with my S200B, and I have a newer version.

ditto, but as far as I knew I can only change shift light, and 2-step (optional feature)

 

mine has a pretty red button, dont know what its for
