Itr 1/4 mile times stock WTf!!
Dude i was just looking at the Itr section and they posted times for there stock itr,or i/h/e some said they where running like mid 13's iam kinda blown away cuase my stripped hb with a gsr and i/h/e would run mid 13's so iam like WTf, have u ever seen any run that fast. I didnt even see any brake 14's yet !!
i dont think you should go by what people say, what people say on this board is hard to believe at times, imo i only go from experience, not from what people say.
mid 13's in an ITR with i/h/e is RARE. and the not so rare cases are probably stripped. remember, an ITR isn't as heavy as people think, a stripped ITR and the common weight reduction items can get it down to stock 99-00 hatchback weight.
high 13's is already pretty rare.
and yes, its believable.. but not probable with most ITR owners.

not bullshit. ask activeaero on this board for his time slips.
ragingangel also hit 14.4 in his BONE STOCK ITR... as in right off the show room floor
imagine that with bolt ons + stripped interior.

I agree, some of the times posted on this forum are truely impressive when looking at the number of mods. I do agree with the fact that it may be possible. But I believe for that to happen, you need good track conditions, a strong (freak) motor, and a good driver. I also feel that for the majority of cases. They do not run that fast. (All of the ones, that I've ever run into, as well as seen run at the track, have all been in the area of mid to high 14's.)
Also, I know a good driver plays a VITAL role in making a good time. But crap, it isn't all driver when getting a full second off the stock time. Its like saying that the rest of us can't drive worth crap, that 95% of us drive terrible. When looking at their 60' foot time, its nothing amazing, their mph matches their time. So it explains that they have the POWER to reflect the mph. Once again, Driver makes a day night difference between times, but there is certainly a brick wall that will stop even the best of drivers from getting a faster time.

It's kinda funny how these guys with bone stock ITR's do a full second ( some claim even more) than a professional driver at sea level did for the original car specs.

notice how the guy who posted that thread said "his friends" and not himself? he might not know what the hell his friends have. even the ITR OWNERS in that thread say they do not believe it.
i told you about activeaero before, he posted in that thread, he also has time slips to back it up.
when Ausmith said he hit a 12.xx in his stock ITR..he was joking.
i dont understand why you guys dont believe it, but oh well. its not like they're knocking off a whole second with NO mods and full interior. they are doing this with bolt ons and most with stripped interior.
again, RagingAngel can tell you about his 14.4 bone stock.. imagine that plus bolt ons, removed p/s & a/c, and stripped interior. its not rocket science folks.

so...I've seen B18C1 boosted hatches run only 13.4 when capable of more...
homeboy probably needs tuning and driving skill

14.4 bone stock, was that in 40 degree weather? Was that at sea level? Yes I won't argue conditions do matter, i see people hit 14's in the fall and spring in bone stock ITR's but not during the summer in 80 or 90 degree weather.

I had a ITR. Personally I think mid 13's even if gutted is still impossible.
I ran a 14.6 with 17 inch wheels and full interior.

Active Aero definitely broke 13's with his ITR.
Here's the link to the post
ActiveAero's 13.7 qtr mile timeslip
mod's were ---- AEM CAI, JDM DC header, no PS belt. Stock exhaust, stock weight, and no tuning. Potenza SO-3 street tires.

tell your friend to go get it tuned first before you talk about it. slapping on a supercharger, doesn't mean you will be superfast. gotta be tuned, and/or he needs to know how to drive.
