Hi,

I have RC 270s and I think they're plenty vs stock 245 CC...

A fellow DFHer has no Todas, but headwork, JDM 4-1 header, etc. and he tried the 310s and they were too much. I think he went back to stock.

If you do the math, I think 270 is enough for upto 220 WHP?

You would need the ecu to be tuned for your larger injectors as well. Yoshio did mine and he accounted for the larger injectors.

A little off topic, but I meant to reply to your VAFC thread.

I'm just getting out of break-in now. We have fairly similar setups.

Everyone seems to lean, even with stock injectors.

My VTEC is at 6500 right now, but I've barely taken it there yet.

Are you leaning at every rpm point on the low and high cam at full and part throttle?

I tried leaning out down low, like 10-5% and it seems to help. I tried leaning the middle, and it felt weaker, so I tried richening there, but haven't driven on the new settings yet.

Any input would be great.

Also, what ignition timing are you running?

Thanks,

FB

I'd think pending the fuel maps on the new ECU, it may be necessary. It's something you may have to go to the dyno to find out for sure.

With the stock injectors, without my new header, and running from 11-13.1/1 AFR the PowerFC is telling me that I am running around 95-100% duty cycle nround 8000-9000rpm...no fpr, I have the 310's sitting at home ready for install this weekend.

I believe the stock injectors are good up to 200 WHP. You do not need the 310 ...

I have your setup ... and run stock injectors. I'm gonna hit the dyno soon ... I'll give you guys an update.

HI we have dynoed Cars with TODA B's and have seen that the stock injectors will do fine until you start reaching close to 80% duty cycle on the stock injectors Or anything over 65psi. Going with the 310cc You will lose power because you will have to lower your fuel pressure and that will eliminate the benefit of a good spray(Atomization). Better to run smaller injectors with high fuel pressure then Bigger injectors with low pressure. Dyno proven. Hope that helps.

If you're having a custom ecu burned, or have a programable ecu(like the A'PEXi PowerFC) you do not have the need to reduce your fuel pressure...you just progam it into the ecu...just changed out my injectors to 310's this afternoon, and the car is running much better with them installed.

Hey Franz,

I know comptechgsr... we live in the same area now. Met him through my cousin.

Ain't it a damned small world?

To run more fuel you need more air flow too. The more fuel present in the chamber to burn, the more air needed to finish the burn.

IMO 310cc = Forced Induction
