Default Zaino

Hey anyone that uses Zaino here, I have a question. I placed my first coat of Z1 and Z2 already, then drove the car to work. I want to put more coats on it but they recommend Zaino car wash, will any car wash do? It's only been a day, I was just going to hose it down, dry, and apply the spray then Z2 again. That alright?

Never used Zaino, but I'm sure you can use any car wash that doesn't strip wax. Most, if not all waxes recommend their own wash so that you buy it and they get more $.

Zaino works great. However, it has its falls because we all know how long the application takes. Takes forever and ever. Once you've washed the car once, even with the Zaino car wash ****, the wax just washes right off. So all that time you've spent applying Zaino to your car, it washes right off when water touches it regardless of what.

Zaino costs too much, takes too long to apply, and only lasts for one car wash. IMO, you're better of with Miguiars or Mothers.

As a Zaino Zombie for many years, I offer this.

1. Zaino DOES NOT come off with one wash. Not two wash, not three wash. It's the most durable product I used for almost 20 years of car care. I use any car soap that does not have wax in it. We don't need to use Zaino soap. Save $$$ there. Keep in mind we are washing a car, not dishes.

2. Zaino takes a long time to dry because one is using too much. Thinner the better. It's not a wax where you lay it on. Drying time is about 20 mins in states like CA. By the time one get the back of the car, the front is ready to go.

3. Zaino is not expensive in the long run because one uses less, and it lasts long. My current bottle of Z2 have lasted me 3 years.

I was waiting for Drew to chime in...

Synthetic wax (Zaino) is not like Carnuba. The LESS you use the better when waxing. Zaino is some incredible stuff, and will last longer than your typical Mothers/Meguiars Carnuba wax.

Its expensive, but it is VERY nice and your car looks amazing after the process.
