Default ATTN: God

Had a question for you about the GReddy A/F ratio gauge...that O2 sensor it comes with...is it a wide-band O2 sensor?

Basically, I want to know if that thing is worth a lick?

Thanks.

no. its a std narrow band 1.0V O2 sensor.

Unless you calibrate that gauge against a true wide band, then its
not really worth it.

This an affordable wideband.

I'm pretty sure it is 5V sensor, but I could be mistaken. I can't read the Japanese in the manual, but it shows a 1-5V swing. You do need to calibrate it with a true Lamda meter. AFIK it can handle the range, it just doesn't have any temp corrections like a full fledged Lamda.

Just use the one at the dyno. Most dyno shops have a wideband O2 sensor available for use. Once your car is dialed in, you really don't need to worry about the A/F ratio since it'll already be tuned.
