H&R sport springs... feedback, is this for me?
I'm a very very picky person, and I just wanted to make sure these are the right ones for me. I don't have the $$$ to find out what will be right, so here it goes... These will be paired with stock shocks. Don't mention coilovers, I'd have it now if I could afford it.
This is my daily driver, so no roll cage. I may some day wanna bring this car to a track when its done, and well, to be honest, i'd probably go only a couple times a year at most. But basically, this car is going to be going to school/work/groceries everyday.
What I want to know is, are these H&R sports going to be giving a slight handling improvement over the stock R suspesion? Has anyone had these springs and not liked them? I remember awhile ago there was a thread where recently everyone was getting these springs, and they loved them, but now after sometime with them, have any of your opinions changed?
Thanks ppl...

handles great, stiffer than stock but not too stiff. handeling is improved also, less body roll, lower center of gravity. taking turns feels a lot better than stock suspension.
Here's my car when it had them:
Dr Pooface review: Good for street, bad for track. When I removed them after two track days the fronts showed signs of bad coil bind.

They are a fine street spring. The rate's are not what I'd want for the track, but oh well. Honestly though, the ITR suspension handles wonderfully on the street so unless you want it lowered for looks, I wouldn't bother.
Oh, and you already have coilovers

I've had them for close to 7000 miles and I also use my car for the exact same purposes as you... daily driving with a handful of track events per year (drag, auto-x and road course).
Yes, I still really like them. The looks great.
Handling? Seems as good as before, maybe slightly better, but tough to tell. Very similar to stock to be honest.
The ride? Again, very close to stock. I was surprised by the feel. I expected much more of a bumpy ride considering how much it dropped the car, but no.. it's actually quite comfortable to me.
Longevity of stock shocks? I blew my passenger side rear after only 6500 miles with these springs, and I only have a total of 16500 on the car. I take speed bumps and train tracks very slowly so I was surprised that it went so fast, but I suppose its to be expected. No big deal.
Overall, I'm very pleased. For a cost of $150 for the springs and another $120 for rear shocks I'd have to say that it was well worth the $$.
As a side note, I have "touched" the ground with the front a few times. I have never scraped my header (Spoon which hangs low) but the front jack spot is so banged up you wouldn't believe it. It seems that whenever I leave steep incline parking lots the front end dips quite a bit. No problem though since the header is fine and the front lip has been spared so far.

used mine when I got my lude few years ago. I was pleased with the performance that H&R gives me
Although I ended to changing it to coilover, but with the price of H&R springs, it is already very good to use.

Well.. let's see. They do need time to settle... after they fully settle (maybe over a few weeks to a month+ depending on driving)... they look pretty good. Drive pretty well (definitely tolerable). My only complaint is that the damn things sit even in the front and back. I'm so used to seeing the front a little lower, with the back hiked up a little... it looks a little odd. Oh well, when the stock shocks wear, I'll get some Koni Yellows and play with the heights.
Thanks for the replies everyone, I guess I will go for them, cuz from all the reviews, they suit me best compared to all the other options out there.
Thanks
