Default 94-97 Accord front end on an Integra Possible???? (a poor mans JDM!)

JDM front ends are just too damn expensive, plus you gotta ship em. I like the way the 94-97 front ends look, and it actually looks quite similar to the JDM Integra front end. So physically, are the cars similar in size enough that this could be done? In all actuallity the shapes of the cars look the same, but again the Accord may just be proportionantly a little bit bigger.

I think a front end like this would be fresh......

itll "work" but in my opinion the 5th gen accord lights are still too big in proportion to the rest of the integra lines. i have a pic of a white 5th gen accord with the JDM integra front end however and it fits pretty well. but i dont think itll look good the other way around.

Ya post it if you can. So is the swap fairly a bolton? Or would it require massive welding? I actually really like the look of these Accords, so I guess its a pref. choice.

Accord hood fit too?

Also I have a four door, so the extended look may fill the lines better. The coupe may be a little too squished for this.

it is NOT a bolt on. the guy had his fenders and hood modified to fit the headlights. he used basically the JDM integra headlights, grill, and bumper.

My personal opinion...for the amount of work/welding/money required for this project, you might as well go do the real deal JDM lights...

I can see a problem of where the bumper would bolt to the car on the front. Since the Integra bumper comes up real high to meet the hood. Where as with this front end it bolts under the lights.

Another thing is that you would be downgrading headlights.

Projectors > reflectors

After looking at some accords I noticed the area on the fenders different. Between the wheel and the door, that are on an Integra is about 4-5 inches and on the Accord its 2-3 inches...so some work would be required.

The reason this looks attractive is because you can buy the Accord parts online for real cheap.

Where as poeple charge an arm and a leg for the "JDM" stuff. If I could JDM integra fenders for $50 each like the Accord...trust me I would!
