b16a2 SIR in 89 hb Si 1/4 time crap...help what's wrong?!?!!?
second gen b16 in ef hatchback....w/obd0 distrubutor and pr3 ECU throwing no codes, no check engine,everything wired right, no ghetto rig, hasport mounts, hasport shift linkage, bone stock, timing advance, new axles, 2 1/4 in piping, running f*@king 16's...wtf is wrong?!?!! swapped out vtec solenoid twice?!?! wtf is going on with this damn motor?! compression good...190 all across, running two o2's, could it be bad o2's?!?!? someone give me some info.........

is VTEC actually comming on? you said swap sol's, but is that the prob? what tranny are you using?
16's? what are you 60 foots? whats your top speed? are you spinning tires? can you? lol... do you suck *** as a driver? there's alot of unsnswered questions.
my stock B16 in my ED9 ran 14.3's all motor.. i grew some *****, found 100 shot, and run 12's now.

hahaha.. its ok... my feelings arn't hurt.. i got my 12 second time slip, and a chance to paint it, and work on my glass top conversion.. oh yes.. a fully converted JDM Spec left hand drive CRX.. lol

For the first guy, can you post a complete time slip? I ran a 15.1 with a bonestock B16A/PW0, S1 tranny with stock std exhaust. Something sounds wrong with your setup.

I asked that question above if you read the post.. changing VTEC sol's doens't tell you if VTEC is engaging, the ECU will throw a VTEC malfuntion code.. theres something deff wrong.
There is something really wrong if ur getting suck *** times, and no power.. maybe 1 or 2 bunk injectors.. maybe a shitty PFR.. i dont' know, it could be a combonation of alot of things.

And thinking about it again.. just wanted to tell you, its not the O2's.. O2's go into open loop at full throttle, its not that. If you had bad O2's, around town, and between idle, and 3K RPM it would be jumpy, and bog. its not the O2's.
im thinking major loss of power, due to fuel delivery.. no, not full fuel pump, and hi flow rail.. pop some other injectors, and change your fuel filter and see if that helps noticably..

my bro could git it to 14.3, 14.4's constant. where i couldnt. hes also been doing this for over 10 years. i have been for 3 or 4 years. best i could was 14.7 with nothing changed but the driver.
i now put 17x7 wheels on and a new HD clutch. and i run a flat 15 constant. and my bro can break 14.9's. crazy stuff. i have added around 100lb's or **** though. stereo/sound dampening.
just aint fast enough. building a b20/vtec right now. need some torque and some more ponies, might as well. b20 around 500 bux + typer head 1200 bux from dealer. EDIT: dont ask me for that kind of pricing. i know the manager at a dealer thats why.

2.4 is average 60 ft time for me top speed is only 83-84 mph weak, i ran 4 times and out of the four, best two reaction times i got was .548 and .528...damn near perfect......what else could be the problem?! ecu not throwing any codes, someones got to know something...
83-84 mph with an SirII... jeeze, that's terrible. My brother's B16 pulls 98 mph in the quarter with *** tires and an intake/exhaust. It sounds like fuel delivery problems to me. maybe try some different injectors, put in a high flow fuel pump, change your filter, etc.
launching at 3-4 grand........i know this is very disappointing for me.....there this other kid that had a b16 in a crx.....stock everything s1 tranny.......his was 1st gen...pullin 15.4 first time at track........i was pissed........wtf is going on with this damn motor?!?!?
could it be distrubutor?!?!? maybe i should change out spark plugs.......i got new wires but didnt change spark plugs...and for fuel ....i always that i was running a little rich.but i could be wrong.......what else can it be?!?! because vtec cross's over.....could it be tranny?!?!? when i look at my 1/8 time time it looks like my speed starts to drop.....65-67 at 1/8
if it is a vtec problem....what can problems and things should i check?!?! because i have double checked everything, ecu wiring, ecu grounds, vtec wire...everything.....someone help....wtf is wrong?!?! and another thing.....i raced my buddie wid a b16a3 in a 91si hb he has, skunk2 manifold, aem cam gears, aem fpr, intake and he ran a 15.1 at CMI in SAC, CA......i raced him head to head 3 runs.....i beat him by half a cars length three times so i dunno wtf is up?!?! anyone have any ideas ???!?!?
