problem with gas
when i got my car a year ago i was getting around 27-28 mpg with my 94 accord lx. i then put an aem intake on which changed nothing. after that i put an aem fuel rail on and my mileage dropped dramatically down to 18-20. i put a fpr on and a fuel gauge to see if changing the fuel pressure would do anything but it didn't. so i put the stock fuel rail back on and i still only get 18-20 mpg if i drive freeway and don't rev any higher than about 3500. i got a tuneup after i put the stock fuel rail back on and that didn't help anything. any suggestions or tips on what the problem could be? going from filling up every 350-400 down to about 190-220 is a big difference, expecially with the gas prices the way they are. anything would help right now. thanks in advance for anything.
i reset the ecu twice and that didn't do anything. where is the o2 sensor located so i can check on that? i was thinking about getting my injectors cleaned at a shop this week. i hope that works. any other suggestions guys?
