Well, how much improvement you want is up to you. Right now, you're making stock numbers, so you can improve on that.
If you don't want to bother with bolt-ons or heavy modifications, try and strip away as much as you can, like the spare tire, jack, all the trunk interior pannels, seats (except yours, of course), even take off the carpet and center console and radio if you got time, and bring yourself a spare battery to the track, and remove PS belt, as well as A/C and Alt belt.
With this, I guess you could go get yourself something like 5-7 tenths, which would be not bad at all for no power mods. Oh and don't forget to go there with the least gas possible, and dressed as lightly as possible! LOL

yeah thanks I might take off a little weight next time to the like spare tire jack and all that crap I got in my trunk. Which other mods can I do? I need to get a little more power to improve on my trap speed. My launch is not that bad is just in third gear I don't feel the car moving....
Is your car manual, or auto? If it's manual, you can try improving your driving. You definitely need more mods. Also, to improve your time a bit, you can remove your spare tire, jack, and any other dead weight. Having your stock wheels on is a must. Keep in mind, Accords aren't high performance cars. So don't be expecting to run 14s with minor bolt-ons like some cars. Any plans for an engine swap, or any form of forced induction?
it is a manual. I would like to do a swap but not at the moment, still paying for the car. I know is not a performance car but I am hoping on getting it to 16's mids maybe lows if possible. I think my shifting is ok, I shifting at redline, don't know if there is a better shift point. Also I am working on getting more mods on my ride. Thanks for the input so far

On my 95 EX, I had the following bolt-ons on: I/H/E, UR 10lbs flywheel, underdrive accessories pulley kit, AEM adjustable cam gear, FPR, with the basic weight reduction I was talking about, and I was doing flat 15 and 94mph.
I could have taken off the belts and ran open header, in fact I was planning to do so, but I had started having too many reliability issues, so I sold the car.
But it can maybe help you out a little. Just keep in mind, though, that since you have an OBD2 ECU, you will probably have to reprogram it or at least have a chip on it in order for it to accept these mods. But they will make a fairly long way for you.

what is the best shift point? because I feel I had decent launch on that run I thought I would probably do 16.xxx but it was on the 17's. Do I need to take to redline or pass redline a little? Where is best to shift for accords?
Well, the first time i went to the track my reaction times were horrible. I had a passenger in the car and didn't take out the spare tire, any seats, or anything. I was running with the works. The best time i got thta night was 17.5. The next time i went to the track i had no one in the car, took out the spare tire and all seats except for the drivers and had a time of 16.7. So in my case it was close to a second.

I took out the passenger and rear seats and the spare tire. So you can definitely hit the 16's. What do you launch at, what rpms?</TD></TR></TABLE>
I launch at about 3k rpms.
I launch at about 3k rpms.
With a manual you should be able to improve a bit on those 60 foot times and what not... like try feathering the gas on bad wheel hop and try to launch higher in the rpms if you did not.
Next I would try eliminating un-ness. weight from the vehicle... and try to run with between a 1/4 and 1/2 tank of gas.
Basic modifications would then be my next step... basic intake, disconnect the exhaust before the cat., and you might try running a shorted belt skipping the a/c pulley if you know how to change them.
If thats still not fast enough... I would think about a major power adder (n20) and a flywheel/ clutch combo. I would not invest too much in n/a bolt ons... then agian thats cause I will always lean to saving the money for f/i.

You might also want to take some air out of your front tires .. I'd go as low as like 26 lbs or so of pressure. I ran a 16.8 stock with just a generic intake. Your trap speed is also really low. I also have a 97 ex .. my best to date right now on my 17's after all my mods is 15.8...
Forget all about the smal power adders that are going to cost you a ton of money. Thats where I messed up. I spent like a grand on headers/exhaust/intake/ignition when I could have just started of off with the turbo set up I have now that cost less money than all that crap and I run low 14's and once high 13's. Trust me, its much better to save all that money you will be wasting on headers and stuff and put it towards a turbo. DAMMIT!!! I WISH I WOULD HAVE JUST WENT TURBO AND NOT WASTED ALL MY CASH ON All THAT BS!!!
