Default After Install Pics.....Finally

Well my digicam is finally back in my hands. So here's a few pics of the exhaust/header. The header has discolored quite a bit after a few days of driving but I guess that couldn't be prevented huh? Anyways, I'm very happy with the setup, I've noticed nice gains and will be going to dyno and tune in the next few days. I love the sound at idle, partial throttle, and even FULL THROTTLE To those who said it's too loud, you're a bunch of pussies Just kidding. Anyways, here's the pics. Any tips on keeping the header looking somewhat nice, holla at a playa.

Dear god Nate.

FINALLY.

Looks nice! good work.

What has it been for the Spoon header, 6-7 months waiting to go on??

Just remember: Don't EVER EVER EVAR use allen bolts again my friend.

When I am going to see the new shizzle? Give me a ring.

Glad to hear you're enjoying your new setup.

I guess I'm getting old. Beginning to appreciate music and sometimes relative silence when I have to drive for more than an hour.

Looks very nice and congrads on the new set-up !

did you clean the header before install or after ? It's good to do that so it doesn't get discolored, that means it's got alot of oil and crap on it !

I knew you'd love it man. I have a similar set up on my R and LOVE the sound. Just right in my opinion. Enjoy, and get your dyno plots up, hopefully I'll have some up soon.

Definately a great setup. Just don't like how it's crooked and out some.

Do all Rs with the N1 have it stick out a bit? I'm running a carsound cat, maybe it's too long.... Oh well, still performs like a champ

Odd. Mine isn't crooked at all and it doesn't stick out too far (less than stock, IMHO). I'll take pics tomorrow and post them if this thread isn't dead by then.

Edit - Found some old pictures, can't tell if it's crooked in these but the N1 is centered on my car and ...

Doesn't stick too far out, does it? But it is the "second gen" N1 with less of a bottleneck (not pinched/tapered at the end of the flange - "first gen") but it doesn't have the hole for the silencer (currently available).

nate there's a way to get it to angle straight out, gotta mess with the rubber hangars. i'll show you how i did mine the next time we get together. as for sticking far out, it's how it goes. but i dont mind cuz it's a small tip and doesnt look ricey at all. in fact it looks somewhat stock to a lot of people. it sure doesnt SOUND stock tho

I just installed my Spoom M1 the other day with an Apex B pipe and I love it so much.

At first it hung way to the left and then I adjusted the left hanger and put it on a new spot and now it hangs straight. It does hang a little low, but doesn't look bad at all... and the tip doesn't hang too far out like some ITRs I see.

I'll take better pictures tomorrow!
