hey,
i have a 88dx and the front bumper support (if that's correct) got damaged when the jack accidently slipped..
are they reparible or should i replace them? like cut and weld..
do i need it from the same year model (88-89 dx) ?
by any chance, 87 will fit cuz there are lots of 87's around me..
any input would be very appreciated!!

if your talking about the bottom piece, thats not your bumper support, thats the actual frame. Exact same thing happened to me except on mines it raised that piece up which bent my hood latch piece, I simply used a hammer and tried to get it as straight as possible, if it hasnt affected anything leave it alone.

 

isnt that front cross member repalcable with like a jimfab one?

it does unbolt.

actually, the damn jack hit and bent the FRAME and i also have bent hood latch but i can get another one..
anyway, i will use a hammer too..
