well i just got done installing tein ss coilovers, complete ES bushing kit, new balljoints, and a full SPC camberkit front and rear. the fronts are adjustable ball joints. this is a 1990 honda civic 3dr
the problem is, in the front when i tried to get it aligned, and adjusted the camber kit out, if we were to put the weight of the tires back down, the adjustable balljoint would hit the inside fenderwell. What can i do?
we had to set it at -1.9 camber to clear the fenderwell
anyone else run into this problem? how can i fix it?
this was the hieght before with sagging sprint springs and blown shocks. I have since raised it about a 1" to 1.25"

with the adjustable ball joints when you adjust out the camber they will hit the fenderwell, every one that i have seen (except for the rare few) have done that, most people cut a piece of the inside fenderwell (under the hood) so that it wont hit

Yes they do, but only if you have it lowered to much. I have mine lowered to 1", and they don't hit.

Hey, if you don't mind me asking, is that the WW kit? Those Skirts looks prety damn good, makes the car look even lower than it is.

I had that problem wiht mine too...I just adjusted it to where it would just barely fit in there. you could actually here it scrapping the inside soemtimes. But after a while it wore iteself and groove and stopped sqeaking. I was mostly concerned for camber wear on my azenis...and that was plently. Was almost too much. But then again im not too much into tuning a suspension for competetion.
But there was nothign else i could figure out to do. I even tried to beat it out some but there is no room to swing a hammer...nor is it weak enough to bend...
I had the ingalls kit.

it actually goes in the place of the stock ball joint, but this one slides back and forth so you can adjust the camber, they have pics on the SPC site, you will understand then http://www.specprod.com

Get pushed OUT more. so the will catch on an edge up in the wheel well, and cause it to rest on it and not be lowered all the way
thanks
