All 5th-Gen Road Racers & Autoxers!
Are you guys rolling your fenders, F or R, to provide more clearance for smaller offset wheels or wider tires? If the class regs permit you to do so . . . .that is!
Has auto-x been around long enough for five generations to participate? I am second generation.
If you rub, and your class rules let you, grab your biggest hammer and go to it.

I'm going to assume you're talking about a 5th-generation Civic. However, next time, make sure you clarify what it is you're asking about.
For autocross, rolling fenders is legal in any class except for Stock class - which really isn't a problem, since you can't fit a wide enough tire on a stock-sized wheel and/or lower the car to really need to roll the fenders in Stock class anyway.

How are you guys rolling fenders? Any paint damage result? I need to help a friend roll the rears of his 944T, but since its not my car I'd like to learn a little about it first.
I've heard of using hammers to bang it out from the inside, pliers (with something in the teeth) to pull it out, or a baseball bat to fold it out.

I run a 94 Civic Hatch in SCCA and HC. When I autoXed, I used 15x7, I did not roll my fenders. The inside liner on the front wheels took some minor damage, nothing to worry about. In road racing I run 14x6 and have no problems with fender rub. My ride height and car set up is not really low.
