anyone know of a place that will pass me in smog no problem? i have a 1st gen jdm b16, and i wanna try and go somewhere and bullshiet them and say its from a del sol vtec. i went to a smog place yesterday just to have em check out my hoses, and the guys (3 fobby asians, one dumb black guy, and some idiot indian...all of which barely spoke any english) wanted to argue w/ me for 10 min that it was a 1.8 liter engine from an integra. so, i'm thinking some places aren't really up to bar on the whole situation. but, anyone know of any places in southern cali where i can get by?

 

There is no reason why you should need to sneak around to smog that engine. Its perfectly legal to have a JDM engine in your car. Take it to the ref and be done with it.
