brake light indicator

i recently took out my rear wing with a 3rd brake light attached to it and my brake light on the dash comes on when i start the car. what can i do to keep it from going on?

How is your brake fluid level? If it's o.k., try wiggling your e-brake-if that does not cause the light to flicker or come on, you may have a bad switch in the master cylinder cap. (the little float thingy).
