My friends car is making weird suspension sounds when driving at speed and coming to a stop. She has a '99 integra 4dr manual tranny. It is kind of like a clunking/ squeaking sound. It does not "clunk" or jolt when she comes to a stop it just makes this sound. Any help is appreciated.

You think it's definatly coming from the shock area?

What are you lowered on, if anything?
Double check your installation.

 

The coils of the springs may be "clanging" together. Most people put a few zipties around the bottom coil of each spring to keep them from rubbing/banging together.

 

any recent work done on the suspension? Anything added? Need more info.
