Default Header Tech Header

Hey whats up! I don't post much but I read whats going on! I bought a Header Tech header last week and put it on my car. It fits perfect. There is a ton of ground clearance. They really made a quality header. The *** dyno says its got alot more up top. When V-tech (sorry for all you who have no lifes V-TEC) engages it really rips now! I am pulling hard all the way to my rev limiter (which is 9900). I had a JDM DC header on there. Header Techs blows it away. I am going to get it tuned on a dyno either tomorrow or Sat. so I will let you all know how it goes. If you are looking for more potential out of your motor I suggest a Header Tech header!

Peace
G

well first off no one is goin to believe this coming from a rookie of HT. next for a guy that has a motor that revs to 9900 u cant even spell vtec correctly. i dont forsee u being here much longer.

O.K. guys relax!
One spell mistake is not going to kill anyone! When you type fast things slip. If you would like I will correct it. If anyone of you had a clue then you would not pick **** like that out! Why not ask my setup or even who did the work! Nothing for nothing but you need to get a life for picking that out! Buy the way it is on a 13.0 car that will hopefully go into the 12's thanks to this header. Oh did I mention it was a b18 all motor full interior civic. Wait I forgot V-tec!
Peace

what does having a clue have to do with picking out a mistake in spelling??? that ppl dont tend to like, specially on HT web board. i assume u think that ur car is something special and its top secret until we get a clue.

cause personally i really dont care either way.

well thats great, my car ran 13.004 last yr untuned on DRs and 12.6 on slicks. did i cry for recognition?? o yeah, did u want a cookie for that??

now thats how we like it. and once again, if ur goin to get butthurt over the internet u wont last long. watch out for vtecvoodoo (ryan).

ok, seriously now, im sure i can speak for most of the board to welcome someone that has a passion for the honda that all of us share. its good to see ppl with quick cars on the board. if u havent noticed over in drag forum we get frequent "pro" racers, which i highly doubt the other boards can say the same.

header tech has their game going in a good way.

I am very curious, just like all the other folks to see some dyno numbers up and running.

there are some tards on here, that just like to argue about worthless stuff. but there are some people who like to talk about tech, and not gossip and bitch too much.

so what is your setup that revs to almost 10k?

why did you go with that header, besides headertech being close to you?

My setup is not much to rant about. My comment on the pulls to rev limit should have been snaps to rev limit which it never did before. So now I have to get a shift light so I don't over rev my motor. I have a jdm b18c stock bottom, jun 3 cams, double valve springs and titanium retainers, Prm cold air intake, skunk 2 intake manifold, Jun chip ecu, etc. nothing special! I was just trying to let people know that I was very happy with my new Header Tech header.

Peace
G

why dont you cut him some slack. He is just excited that the header is working so well. And so what if he is proud he ran a 13.0. im sure when you ran your time you were telling people and excited about it. This really isnt a great way to treat a new member. Rob

I saw an AN-R one yesterday that a friend of mine got. I would be interested in getting a Header Tech one and comparing the two with my JG/Edel race B-pipe.

Hopefully we will be posting up numbers here soon with the H22 header they made for us....As far as the topic at hand....There is absolutely no other header builder out there that compares to HeaderTech....Quality....Performance....Looks....p rice! End of story....BTW im over 400miles south of them and have 3 one off headers from them and happy with all 3.....Hell , Enzo hand delivered one of them too....now thats customer service! Call Hy-tech and ask if you can take pics of your setup and try to build a header w/o your car there....Not saying that they do that normally...but they did it for us ONCE (thanks guys!)

Sweet! Looking forward to see how your numbers work out for you! I am getting the car tuned tomorrow (Sat) on the dyno! My buddy installed the Apex-i V-afc for me this past week so hopefully we will see some nice improvements in HP and Torq. Just another step twards my goal!

Hey anybody get their goals yet this year?

Peace

Dewd, seriously...why are you trying to start a flame war for no reason? I know this is the internet and all, but try not to be so inflamatory.

1. FLAME ALL newbies with questions, REGUARDLESS of legitimacy
2. FLAME anyone that spells wrong, cuz as we all know, everyone on the internet cares about proper grammer, punctuation, setence structure....etc.
3. FLAME about flaming like hondaatwsu did above
4. FLAME anyone who spells vtec wrong, and tell them their 900mhz phone isn't at the correct oil temperature

thers a few more but i forget them at the moment.....

FLAME the flamers too!

hondwatsu didnt have correct spelling either in his posts.

either way, the snail header (an-r) and headertech are both cool companies out to support the enthusiast

the header tech header is a nice piece. it makes good power and has no clearance issues. Enzo and red are always there to answer questions too

refering back to the original post from header techs header, i was under the assumption that it had good ground clearance. i dont see good ground clearance when the tubes r stacked like that. 2 of them right up by the oil pan and the other 2 offset from them and underneath. looks like the top of the lower tubes start about the same height as the bottom of the oil pan..

Did the header change the tone(sound) of your motor too? More Banshee like???
Just wondering not that I would buy a header based on sound anyways.

Who's got dyno comparisons or charts? I would like to see how they fair vs. Hytech or SMSP. Especially Dave's B20/VTEC header.
