im getting a exhaust for my rsx-s. im thinking about getting SKUNK2 or BUDDY CLUB.. What kind would u guys geT out of those 2? witch one sounds better? and witch one is quiter out of those 2?

 

I heard the Buddy Club exhaust for the EP and it is really really really loud.. but I like it. Go to http://www.listentomyexhaust.com that should help you decide. Skunk2 is also good..

 

The only problem is you will NEVER be able to tell the true sounds of an exhaust from a clip. You really need to hear it in person.

I have heard that the buddy club is loud as hell but has very good power from it. Also I have heard that the BC exhaust is lighter then the skunk2. I would recommend the Buddy Club exhaust over the skunk2 exhaust. Good luck bro.

Skunk 2 has a good nyce deep tone, while Buddy Club... I don't know... And besides, JDM y0 !

Skunk2 doesnt make the exhaust, RS*R does. Skunk2 just throws their badge on it. I have the Skunk2, and it's ok. Kinda wish I had something quieter though.

 

Being that you live in the Communist state of California, the BC might be too loud.. I'm assuming your talking about the BC Spec III? BC Spec II is a race exhaust, (no muffler just piping with a tiny resonator) and your ears would bleed. Anways, I heard the Spec III on an ITR with bolt-ons. Sounded decent, kinda loud.. Skunk2/RSR Invidia is very nicely built, nice muffler and nice deep/smooth sound. Also comes with silencer as does the BC Spec III. I'd probably go with the Skunk2. Another nice combination if available for the EP3: Type One Racing B-pipe with Spoon N1 axleback...

 

i have the skunk on my ep and da ****'s loud. it comes with a silencer though. i dont know much about the bc.

the skunk gives good gains though. my car feel so much better with it.

 

I use to have the BC Spec III. Awesome exhaust - so light and construction is excellent. The BC is LOUD though it comes with a silencer. I say BC III

so im thinking about getting the buddy club.. with the silencer, is it alot quiter? can i take the silencer on and off if i want to?

Yes the silencer takes about 10 seconds to take on and off And the car sounds like stock with the silencer on however i felt a significant performance drop when the silncer is on. But it beats having the cops harrassing you

 

Just remember, the silencer basically negates any of the gains the exhausts gives you. IMO to buy and exhaust and use the "butt plug" most of the time defeats the whole purpose of the exhaust. Just my .02$..

 

Just started installing my Koni dampers, when I noticed a few things wrong with my Skunk2 exhaust. First off, one of the hangers holding the muffler to the car was snapped off. I guess the subsequent strain caused the piping to actually start to come out of the resonator in the b-pipe... needless to say I'm disappointed and plan on getting something else, probably an A'PEXi WS.

 

witch one sounds better, without the silencers? skunk or buddy. i dont want my car to sound ghetto..
