sorry if this is a topic well talked over many times but i did "search" and did look up some faqs on some sites but couldnt fidn the answer...
"can a stock gs-r motor use a skunk2 itr intake manifold w/ no adjustments or modifications?" so this would mean i can slap on there the itr aem cai? correct?

 

As far as no modifications, it's not a straight plug and play install. But you can run it on the stock ecu, without tuning, but it's not advised.

 

skunk2 itr intake manifold will only fit the b16a vtec head and type r vtec head as far as i know the bolt pattern on the GSR intake manifold is different and your can use your stock ecu thats what i am doin right now.......but i have a ported type R head in my room with a oem type r intake manifold....


you are better off buyin a skunk2 intake manifold on the GSR head.

 

The Skunk2 Manifold is considered a near copy of the ITR - I think this is what he was implying - not if he could use one off of an ITR.

If youre running a completely stock motor, I wouldnt recommend one.
