He'll probably get more money if he parted it out and sold the car close to stock. I can't speek for everyone, but most people arn't going to be willing to throw down $20k on $10k car because it has another $10k invested in it. That is assuming he want's $20k for it. Also, banks and other loan agency's won't give a loan for more what the stock car is worth. Best bet... part it out!
