I'm looking to buy a 90Si hatch for $2500. It's super clean,paint still in great shape, interior is clean-just needs a driver's seat. It has 200K miles on it. I do have a couple of questions about it though. I had an 89 CRX Si and the 90-91 came with rear disc brakes and I thought it also applied to the Civics too. It was made in Canada if that makes any difference. Here's the vin# if any one knows how to decipher them-

are you sure that's the VIN #, Also dude as a recommendation you never know who's in your area and who will copy that VIN #, Double check it though, it should start with a J. anyways JDMfan.com has one but I don't know if the website is up anymore

O yeah by the way I bought my CRX for $2500 and it was in immaculant condition just as you describe but it was savataged so the motor blew, just watch who you buy from. Get a carfax report before you buy it

90 si's don't come with discs on the rear. I've got one, it blew the motor at around 190k... it was a beast before that... I loved that car. 2500 sounds reasonable for a car in good condition. (They're all made in canada by the way, right on the radiator sitcker). Try to work em down on price if you can... that is a lot of mileage. Anyway, good luck man.

 

So the 90-91 Si hatches do not come with rear discs at all? Is that just for CRX Si then. That makes me sad.

 

a guy has a 91si for sale near me, just has a little front fender body damage and the main bearings in the tranny might be going out, but all he wants is $1000.
