Default What do u think I could run at the 1/4 with...

Im gettin a type R either 99 or 00 and I was wondering what I could run with these mods

ITR tranny
Fidanza Aluminum flywheel
Exedy street clutch
Skunk 2 manifold
Apexi VAFC
Unorthodox Racing Pully
aem type R CAI
jdm type R 4-1 header
itr cams 2000
str cam gears
skunk2 intake mannifold
apexi vafc

This is on a stock type R, 50k miles, engine supposedly runs good

I don't know now... isn't that being fairly conservative? I'd say you might sneak into 9s with a good driver.

hmmm. If its a ITR doesn't is already have ITR CAMS and why the hell would you use a skunk2 manifold, its the same as the ITR one. But whatever I say 14.00 with a decent driver

..im no racing expert but, dont get the skunk2 manifold when you already have the ITR one and dont get the Unorthodox Racing Pully CRAP! and dont say the same thing twice...
..also dont get the skunk2 manifold..and also those crap Unorthodox Racing Pulley crap...

I missed the fact you would be running with 2 manifolds...in that case, high 7s pretty easy

hahaha seriously though, i have went 13.60's on slicks, with thosemods minus the manifold, and cams gears and pulley, . on street tires though maybe 13.9-14.1, slicks, i dont se e13's a s a prob

guys, this guy is a newbie, stop making fun at him.
anyway, NewbyforIntegs, you don't need those unnecessary mods for an ITR, if you really wanna go fast, either supercharge or turbo it.

Add a peterbuilt truck 10 lug conversion and you'll be hitting low 7's all day long

If you find a USDM 99 ITR then let me know - those run high 9's out of the box if you unhook the VTEC limiter switch. (It was a safety device to limit the mad Type R VTEC for rookie drivers.)

BTW:

Before anyone rips on me, I know the real deal about 1999 and the Type R.
