I want to replace all the bushing in the front and later the back to make the suspension a littel tighter. right now everytime I hit a bump everything shakes and rattles, I'm sure alot of peopel have seen this since the cars are so old already.

Is there a good list of all the bushing part numbers or names that need to be replaced or a good DIY guide?

New shocks are a MUST!!!

I got new shocks, adjustable springs, just redid all the brakes. The bushings are next, then VTEC baby!!!

 

my engine shaking actully went down when I put in the moto mount inserts..

 

is everyone happy with replacing to stiffer bushing like the energy kit? i drive mine about 100 miles a day and right now when i change speeds the shifter rocks like its going into another gear. im wanting to stiffen everything up but i dont want to be beaten to death.

 

I put in a hyper flex kit in my 89 crx. it does feel tighter all aorund but the damn shifter is a pain in the *** sometimes to get into 5th or reverse

 

how long have you had the kit in?

Does it squeak?

 

i have some prothane stuff in my crx, like the sway bar bushings and stuff and it seems fine. Try searching because i remember there was a post on the things that you could change without making the ride too bumpy and squeaky.
