Hondata IM gasket
whats the difference or advantage to running it in race (leaving the blocked area in) mode as opposed to street mode? (cutting the blocked area out)
Im planning to get a JG intake and gasket soon.

I think the race version just cuts out the coolant flow to your throttle body, then during startup, you will have a rougher idle...but your intake air charge theorectically would be slighty cooler....
The race setup blocks the coolant from the back of the thermostat housing to the cylinder head. The optional TB and IAC coolant bypass is from the main metal water pipe.
I don't think the race version is being sold anymore. If it's true, then it's really too bad, as all it needs is a simple reroute of one hose to get it setup correctly.
