So I look at my door step and what do i see, the mailman left a Red Box at my house with my name on it and an ACura symbol Hmmmmm


So I bring the box in and open it up


Now the box has some weight to it, of course I am thinking wouldnt it be nice to find keys in here


NOPE No keys but I did get a Cool Yellow Pulse meter LOL Just what I have always wanted



So has anyone else gotten one of these packages or was it just that i had bought a few cars from this dealership? I figured it was a promotion that they would be sending out to some of their customers and thought I would share what I got in the mail today.

I still got my S2000 engine start card! That tops it though.

I got one of those for test driving the RSX last night. Pretty good ad campaign - it's a heart rate monitor.

Dumb promos like that are why the RSX costs more than the GS-R

 

I got a promo in the mail as well... can't remember if it was for TL-S or RSX-S though.

I got one of theose boxes yesterday also. When the CL-S (I think that's what it was) came out they sent me a similar package.

Any of you guys ever get the Acura magazine? They've sent me a few of those over the last couple years. It's kind of like a lifestyle magazine.

I've got the Acura magazine before. It's kinda...well...I dunno. It's not great, but it's not horrible either.

 

Man, I don't get **** from them except the stupid magazine! I guess they don't like me since I do all my own work on the car. hehe! But hey, I buy my oil filters from the dealer!

 

All they sent me was a card inviting me to come and test drive it, which I plan to do this weekend.

I want a heart monitor...

Must be nice. All i got was a magazine. But hey, i did get a christmas card from the sales person who sold me my R! But then again when you pay what i paid for my type r i should get a card in the mail for every holiday of the year, and my birthday for the next 50 years.

 

I'll take a heart monitor package also. I could use it when doing my cardio to make sure I'm keeping my heart rate in the desired zone! Acura knows just wat i need!

Speaking of messing in the seat, last night some fool spilled a soda (pop, coke, whatever) in a car with a tag on it that said "SOLD" Punkazz walked away...

 

I got mine in the mail from the dealership in Alaska. It was kind of funny seeing the invite to test drive. IT would be about a 5 day drive to AK from here.

The heart meter pretty cool but it probably added about 100 bucks to the car in advertisement fees.

 

Heh, how do j00 know my age mister? And besides that, I really would like one of these heart rate monitors!

 

hehe, have your girlfriend wear that pulse monitor and bet her that she can't keep her pulse down when you guys go for a ride. you will win that bet so wager wisely.

I got a video in a similar package for the Integra in 98 I think it was. No cool heart monitor tho! I also get the magazine. Thumbs up to Acura marketing dept!

 

I got the same. gift from the dealer yesterday for test driving the RSX Type-S. I was expecting car keys as well.
