Default FlowMaster Exhaust????

I was searching through planetperformance.com, and I found a flowmaster exhuast that is made for my car, it's a catback and the price was around 175, has anyone heard anything good or bad about this exhuast? To me I like the look of it, and I was thinking of getting it since it's so cheap, also, the rating for this exhuast was 10-15 HP and 26lb'torque, which i know they are always overrated, but compared to others, this is higher, please, let me hear your comments

p.s. I have a 95 milano red 2 door GSR

I hate flowmaster mufflers and always rag on my buddy with a Stang for having them. They are chambered with slows down exhaust gas flow thus lowering performance. Plus I don't like the sound, even on V8s. They sound like **** on 4 bangers.

If you want cheap look into a Magnaflow muffler with custom piping and a resonator, it'll sound good. Trust me.

the flowmaster is only a rear section exhaust. so its not as good of a deal as you think.

One of my friends had it on his 96 IS teg. I hated it, he hated it, everybody else hated it. Its so quiet that u can barely hear the car, the intake he has is much louder. The only thing that is nice about it is that the tip is a pretty nice and clean stainless one but thats it. It has a really low tone that u cant even really hear. He got rid of it a month ago cause it was rusting bad on the inside. got a magnaflow which was pretty decent. like these guys are sayin if u want a cheap exhaust that will sound nice magnaflow is the way to go. Screw blowmaster.

not all of the magna flow exhausts are chambered because they make the muffler that is exactly like the es oval and that is straight through. do a search and you will see what im talking about.

All Magnaflow mufflers are stright through mufflers with a perferated core and packing.
Flowmasters are chambered. I personally hate them, don't flow good and don't last long.

Magnaflow =
Flowmaster =

Please don't get them confused, I love my Magnaflow. Any car I modify will sport one.

Flowmaster muffler = exhuast amplifier

That's my experience with them in the 5.0 and z28 world.

I'm surprised their Integra exhaust is considered quiet.

And I would run a 4" round Magnaflow muffler/resonator instead of the glasspack.
