you have a CRX that is very OLD.

I know about 88+ CRX. I don't know what kind of wiring it has if you can get like a 88+ then I will be able to help you out but I know maybe someone on this board has done a swap in a 86 crx si.

Why did u decide to go with a 1986 CRX? And yes 1500 is to much for a swap. Try to talk to blown hatch see what he says about the wiring.

try search function on older topics (not just the car being old) as there was once even some pics. of 1g crx with b16 and turbo...

hasport mounts will put the engine as far back to the firewall as you can get, and you can consider 92-95 half width double core radiator which will give a little more space on the driver side up front.

1500 may not be a bad price depending on what they do and if dyno tuning time is included

keep in mind that the car is so light that with just a few bolt ons you can be running VERY fast.

we have just put the built crvtec into my 87 si, and it is tight but that will be very fast.
anyway, i might be able to answer a few questions if you hit me back

yo!!! ok i have a website that can help you and for the wiring get an si or get a dx wiring harness...but for the dx you have to wire up more things so the wiring harness could work with the engine.....also go to hasport.com for your motor mounts.....but here is the website for the crx http://coreyonline.tripod.com/theswap.html so hopefully this could help......peace!!!!
