Standard B16 Setup. Post pictures.
I'm getting a Rex and I plan on dropping in the standard B16A1. However, there have been some naysayers on the 16 who said I should get a ZC. If you have a B16 could you post some pics of your compartment so I can see how nice it looks? Also with a 89-91 Si Rex, what kind of intakes and exhausts are you guys using? Anything helps, I am still pretty new to this. Thanks.

The plus for the ZC is price....you can do a DOHC ZX swap with a ZC trans for under $1,000, have a huge improvement adn still get 34 mpg and do it running 87 octain fuel...
A B16 swap needs custom mounts..custom gearshift , axels and enough work its going to cost you twice as much to complete. Yeah its faster but you will be lucky to see more than 24-25 mpg if you baby it, adn it MUST have 93 octaine fuel. Do the math on how much thats going to cost you at todays fuel prices on a daily driver.
Me I love the B16 (mines built) but I seriously miss the better milage and cheaper fuel the DOHC ZC used.......and its not minor when you drive 350+ miles a week, every week.
I've been driving my Mercedes Benz that gets 25 mpg no matter how hard I drive it. (Turbodiesel)
