I am about to put together my ITR model and had a few questions for those of you who have put together a model your ITR and painted it yellow 1) what color did you use and 2) how close does it match your PY ITR? Thanks

 

Why not go to a Acura dealer and buy some PY touch-up paint for $7.00?

 

Easier to spray paint it than it is to paint it all by brush.

 

Testors Gloss Yellow spray enamel. Close enough. About $2.49 a can. You need less than one can to paint the body, hood, wing, and, lip.
A bit of advice when building any plastic model. Take your plastic ITR body & hood and wash them with hot soapy water. (dish soap) Then dry it with paper towels and make sure you dont leave any lint behind. Doing this will make the paint adhere much better to the plastic parts. That process removes the thin oily film all molded plastic has in its natural state.
Not to mention add a hard-shell gloss in the paint. Good luck.
