Default Screwed up install/alignment probs on ITR springs.

I had a shop install KYB AGX (GSR application) on my '01 GSR with ITR springs.

I noticed a month ago when getting new tires installed that all are missing their dustcovers and that the left rear spring isn't seated against its perch.

Guy at the shop gives me BS about the ITR springs not aligning properly with the hat and he had to do it that way.

What gives and how do you do it right? I see a lot of people here have this set-up after searching and no one else has this prob, that I can see.

I would think that the strut should align on the perch, but how does the hat fit in? Is there a tab and can the hat be adjusted to align to the spring and still align to bolt back in to the mount? I can't tell from my Helms.

What about dustcovers? These should fit back on with no probs, right?

FWIW, the guy wouldn't give me my money back, so I'm suing his *** and he sent me a check.

Makes me wish I had waited to go home and try to do it myself while I didn't need to have my ride. Live and learn.

Thanks.

MFers had the front springs in back and vice versa. Idiots!

Can you buy new dial inserts for the AGXs - mine are kinda chewed up.
