My 97 (LS) seems to be reaching its 7000 RPM redline a LOT lately, like every day I take it there like over 10 times a day (sometimes a really have to to stay out of accidents and to actually get the car moving, I have to rev that high) How bad is this for my engine, i have 87,000 miles, and I am putting on a turbo in about 2 months. What is going to explode?

 

don't worry too much about it, just don't forget to change the oil on a regular basis if you drive it hard.
