Default Is a Type R throttle body compatible with the GSR intake manifold?

Might be a stupid question, but just as the topic states. My homie is selling his Type R throttle body for like 100 bucks, so I just wanna know if it will work. Thanks.

Sure it will bolt up, but where you going to put the throttle cable? Plugs in but no play. Throttle cable needs the bracket the will not bot on to ITR TB.

you also need a b16 or type-r throttle cable unless you plan in unwinding yours.
correct me if I'm wrong.

Okay, first, 100$ for that TB is a ridiculously good deal. I sold my GSR TB for 105. Is he giving you sensors?
Well either way - good deal.

I would either:
a) Buy a Skunk2 Manifold now if you have the cash. The ITR TB matches PERFECT (62mm to 62mm) with the Skunk2 Manifold. Then youre just an ITR Throttle Cable and Bracket away from a gorgeous install (my setup ).
b) Buy a Skunk2 Manifold as soon as you can, and wait to install the ITR TB - see above once purchased.

Are you sure about 62-62mm match? My S2 manifold is 64mm.

here is what you do.

Take the ITR throttlebody pulley off and put the GSR's pulley in its place..... make sure you load the spring. It will work fine I did it for a friend. no problems
