Do I get a membership card or anything???
well, about 700 miles after my last oil change i have noticed i have burned about 1/2 qt of mobil. i have never burned any oil before, not even a drop!! the odo is at 16750. this is also right after i installed a dc jdm and smsp cat and t1r exhaust.
i have autocrossed the car before the mods and still no oil burnt...now the hooptie is burning oil. so do i get a memebership card for the oil burning club?? a newsletter maybe??

Nope, just the satisfaction that Mobil-1 sucks...
Try something else, like Castrol Syntec, I lost a lot less with that. Now I use Agip and consume virtually Nothing even at HPDE's.

I think im the luckiest R owner ever. Never burn oil, Compression of ~240 across all four and i have used about 5 different types of oil, switching from synthetic to regular again and again and no probs.

I use Mobil 1 as well and haven't noticed any loss in oil. I did notice some oil burning with Redline oil though (About half way between the high and low mark on the dipstick after 6000km of normal city driving).
