yea he is, not very good at it though. basically a special edition is like a gs with more options. leather, power everything, alloy rims, things of that sort. but the engine is the same

If I remember right, an SE is an LS with sunroof, different rims, leather, and a little badge on the rear that makes people think you have a GSR.

When you see them on the road you have to look twice to make sure. I have a 95 SE and people ask me all the time if I have a GSR. And that is with the hood up! Some people are too stupid for their own good.

exactly...i have the 96 se ...same as a gsr minus vtec...
fully loaded...leather,96 gsr wheels, front and rear sways, and yes with out being able to read the rear badge you will think its a gsr..untill your close enough to actually able to read the letters on the badge...

I wonder how many more times this question will be asked? Does the search feature work? Next week we can answer what year GSR is best.

Man, I was hoping next week could be "I have 3000 dollars what should I do?" I never see threads like those around.

the GS model was introduced in 97, no more Special Edition (SE) after 96

I thought the got rid of the "GS" in favor of the "GSR" from 94 and up.

RS, LS, GSR.... in 95 added SE... in 96 dropped SE... in 97 added Type-R

EDIT: I think GS was more of a G2 model rather than a G3.

Just to set everything straight for 3rd gen tegs.

RS: Regular Series. Available in both coupe and sedan. No sedan available in 1998. Model dropped in 1999.

LS: Luxury Series. Available in both coupe and sedan. Available all years.

SE: Special Edition. Available in both coupe and sedan starting from 1995. SE's are only found in 1995 and 1996 model years until they were changed to be named the GS in 1997.

GS: Grand Series. Available in both coupe and sedan starting from 1997. Same standard features as the SE.

- taken from Team Integra

EDIT: These are USDM specs, Euopean, Japanese, and Canadian specs all differ.
