currently i have a 99 B16A2 block with 99 GSR head in my 1999 Integra (i dont know what kind of tranny i have)
this guy on HT wants to trade me his entire built GSR motor for my motor +800 bucks...here is his thread about how built his GSR block is

so basically we are trading blocks b16a2+800 for a built GSR, is that a good deal for me??

also, what else will I have to buy once i get this engine....do i need a new tranny, axles, wiring or anything

Are you giving him the $800 or the other way around?

 

of course i'm giving him 800...im getting a built GSR block for my stock B16A2 block plus 800 bucks...

how can i tell whether i have longblock or short?? it is a block from a 99 Civic SI so i assume it is a shorty

 

A shortblock is the the block, crank, rods, and pistons.

A longblock is a shortblock plus the head and valvetrain.

 

ok im officially retarded...we're trading longblocks because his head has ITR valvetrain and has been hot tank cleaned and mine is just a stock GSR head
