currently i have a 99 B16A2 block with 99 GSR head in my 1999 Integra (i dont know what kind of tranny i have)

this guy on HT wants to trade me his entire built GSR motor for my motor +800 bucks...here is his thread about how built his GSR block is

so basically we are trading blocks b16a2+800 for a built GSR, is that a good deal for me??

also, what else will I have to buy once i get this engine....do i need a new tranny, axles, wiring or anything

Ok few things. One check how far he decked the head (this could pose major issues down the line.) Two, he claims it is at about 12.9:1 compression. If this is true it won't run on normal pump gas. Three find out who built the motor, if they aren't reputable then don't bother. Personally based on what I know I say no to the deal.
