I was driving home from my g/f's house and a yellow water barrel comes flying down the interstate and smacks into my delsol and i see half my street fighter bumper go flying into the wind. i down shifted into 4th and caught the guys in the truck and kept honking and flashing lights till they finally pulled over.

When we pulled opver i walked over to their truck and told them a barrel just hit my car that fell out of their truck and they looked at each like morons and then replied "no, nothing fell off this truck." They were huge guys, 1 big white guy(driver, and 2 huge black guys. i said "look in the back, something fell out and while you decide what it was the cops have already been called."

i walked back to inspect the damage, the barrel had taken half my bumper off fender smashed, cold air intake smashed and pushed so much **** into the tire that it took off half the tread driving a mile to catch the truck. cop finally arrived and said he couldnt do anything because it wasnt an accident, his car didnt actually hit mine. so we exchanged insurance information and the cop wrote a incident report on it and left. i will proceed to contact their company tomorrow and hopefully they will also cover the 152$ bill i spent on the tow truck back to my house. the guys in the truck never even asked me if i was hurt or anything. any suggestions?

 

dood' they are totally responsible for what falls off their truck. This happend to a buddy of mine a few months ago' as long as there is a police report' their insurance should cover it... i say should cus im in texas and ur not... laws may be different'
