it wont work. you either have to rewire the car harness to an Si plug or rewire the engine harness to the DX plug. either way its a lot of work. it would be easier to use the DX engine harness and rewire for MPFI and the dist wires. But since it is an 89 engine in a 90 car it will be illegal. only same year or newer engines are legall.

convert the DX harness to multi point and sell your Si harness on ebay, you should be able to get lie $50+ for it

DPFI to MPFI is cake. You only have to run 4 wires to the engine compartment. The wiring inside the car should only take about 15 minutes to do. Swapping the entire harness is not worth the time. If you get an Si harness your only looking at 30 minutes of wiring.

It takes a lot of time to run the entire interior harness. The MPFI conversion should only take a few minutes. Pins A3 and A7 need to go to the engine compartment. These are your other 2 fuel injectors. Cut wires C1 and C2 off at the ECU plug. Cut wires B10 and B12 off at the ECU plug. Leave enough wire to work with on the plug side. Connect C1(from engine side) to B10. Do the same for C2, run it to B12. Extend and run C1 and C2 to the engine compartment. They will go tot the blue/green and blue/yellow wires on the Distributor or exhaust cam on a ZC swap. All this should only take 15 minutes.

no what im trying to say is the interior harness i got on my dx hb is coming all out including the engine/engine harness. and what im doing is putting in the 89 si harnesses into my 90 dx hb without cutting anything im not keeping any dx harness in the car or the motor..coz i got the the all the si harnesses to put in my dx so there shouldnt be any problems rite. or am i wrong .....

You're going to have to change out so much wiring, and take apart so many things to get to the wiring (the entire dash for example) that it would be MUCH easier to just do the mpfi conversion!

Its only 4 wires. It's easier than installing a deck. If you don't plan on cutting any wires don't ever plan on swapping a B series or D16Z6 either.
