I usually don't ask for group opinions, but...
I'm wondering if it makes sense to buy a P72 ECU off ebay now, even though I won't need it for a year or so. Only after the H22-powered project car is running well will I consider either NA or FI work. I go back and forth on buying one now, wondering if, in a year, they'll be more, or less, valuable. Of course I have no idea what Hondata is thinking, meaning for all I know, I might get a P72, sit on it for a year or so, only to find out Hondata no longer uses them. I guess it all depends on what Hondata plans, something I'm sure they aren't going to share... Whatever they decide will either keep P72 prices high, or drive them into the ground the moment Hondata stops modifying them.
Your thoughts appreciated.

What are you going to use for an intake manifold?
If you must have secondary runner control, get a P72.
If not, just get a P28 it's the best choice. Also you can use a p28 and use an RPM switch for the Secondary IABs if you must.

Don't know yet, that's way, way, off in the future. Good point about the P28 though, and it would probably be cheaper. Looks like I'm going to hold off. Worst case would mean being forced to use a true stand-alone ECU, not such a terrible thing, though tuning could suck.
