I've got a 92 supercharged hatch with a B18c1.
I was told that I should get a CRV crank pully and a Integra LS motor belt and I could crank up the boost.
Can someone fill me in (or point me to a previous post) on the details?

 

I understood this was a common thing to do. Anybody?

 

eh, you will boost more, but i think it boosts to much for the blower. Im assuming you have a JRSC. the heat soak that will take over will kill any HP gains you might be getting. the blower can only boost up to 10psi before the heat will be soo hot that it will start to warp the blades and they will break.

i have the JR crank pulley and the 8psi pully on my car. it boosts 9.5 psi all day everyday and seems to be fine. it does get mighty hot under the hood though

This is the kit that Jackson Racing sells to upgrade the boost. It's the B20 crank pulley and the belt from the Integra LS, and a boost timing controller (to retard the timing of the engine under high boost - unless *wink winK* you already had an ECU that would do that automatically) there is a higher flow fuel pump, a lower temperature thermostat, and these spark plugs:

"Jackson Racing recommends using NGK BKR7E-11, gapped to .035-.038 inches."
