are you smokin crack?header and head being one pice? unless honda has come up with some crazy ****, and i missed it somehow, fine? but im pretty ure that doesnt make sense in my head.

might not be a bad swap if you could somehow get the prelude tranny to bolt on to the engine. the accords trannys are geared much differently and gain increased efficiency at the loss of power.

It's true. The exhaust manifold is cast to the head. It also has a very close mounted cat-convertor. All this was done for inproved emissions.
Andrew - who would rather have a high-strung 4 cyl than a big V6 regardless of how much HP it makes

Yes the new engine in the accords spins the opposite direction than any previous honda's (well the brand new civic si spin the same direction but you get my point). And I've heard that the whole engine/tranny doesn't fit. So if you were to do it you'd need a custom built tranny anyway so gearing wouldn't be an issue, MONEY WOULD.
The whole header thing I think I need to take the 20min. trip from my house to Marysville OH and whoop some Mechanical Engineer's ***. That dumb *** group of guys should be shot. B/c down the road when the header rusts out it's going to kill people's wallets to try to replace it. Not to mention any of us trying to tune on that car.
