ok, i just got my prelude and it only has 20k miles on it. i just put on an greddy cat-back exaust and a short ram intake. now im not sure if all preludes have them but under my spedometer there is this little square that says next to it maintaniance required. ever since i got it car its been green but today i noticed it was orange, i just wanted to know if you'll could help me to figure it out and if i should be worred or not, usually i would check the cars manual but mine didnt come with one so i have no clue about it. my car is a 99 sh and any help would be most helpfull.

 

ahh, that light will turn from green to orange then to red. when it goes red that means that you have gone 7,500 miles without resetting the light. (time for an oil change according to honda) after you change the oil put your key in it and hold it all the way in until the light resets to green.

 

usually just get oil changes after every 3000 miles. oil changes are always good.
