From reading past posts, I know that the 94-01 LS/RS/GS, 00-01 GSR and 97-01 ITR have the same length header but I was wondering, what are the outlet sizes for each stock header?

94-01 LS/GS/RS: ??
00-01 GSR: ??
97-01 USDM ITR: ??

I have a 98 GSR with usdm ITR header and catback exhaust and it make a good diference. Nice upgrade to me.

 

Does anyone know the outlet measurements though?

 

Is the 00-01 GSR stock header the same as USDM ITR header? The reason I ask is because the DC 4-1 header on my LS teg is all dented up so I wanted to get a cheap replacement while I save up for a turbo. I was going to get the USDM ITR stock header but I found someone selling a 00-01 GSR header for really cheap and wanted to confirm that it was the same. I posted the question on Team-Integra and the guys there seem to think that the headers are different and that the 00-01 GSR header is actually the same as the 94-01 LS header.
Can anyone help me out here?

Also, would there be any benefit in putting on a 00-01 GSR/USDM ITR header onto a 95 LS?

 

headers should be different in design in the A Pipe section right before the cat. The top half mounted to the motor looks the same. The outlet to the cat should be the same, and direct bolt on for 00-01 GSRs. 00-01 GSR and ITR length are the same from what I've heard.

 

Well does the difference in design of the A pipe make any difference in performance between the 00-01 GSR and USDM ITR header? Would it even be worth putting either on my 95 LS or should I just put the stock LS header back on?

 

i once saw a picture of the internals of a gs-r and itr header which illustrated how the itr header would flow better. i searched around for a few minutes, but couldn't find it. maybe you'll have better luck. but unless you can find a really good deal on the itr header, would it really be worth it since you'll be getting the turbo at some point?

Well that's the thing...I don't want to spend much on a stock replacement right now which is why I was looking at getting a USDM ITR header but I found a 00-01 GSR header for really cheap and was considering getting that instead if in fact it's the same as the USDM ITR header.

 

I think it would be a good idea to get a stock replacement until you get your turbo and then sell it somewhere like H-T or eBay if you need the cash back. There are aways people looking for stock parts
