Default COULD this set-up work??? / how much power gain noticed..???

Just curious...I've got a Civic Si..and I want to have dual stage vtec like in GS-R's (vtec crossover @ 4400 and 6500 I believe)..could I somehow use GS-R cams, GS-R intake manifold / throttle body and GS-R ecu?? (add AEM CAI, DC Sports 4-1 header/ 5 Zigen Fireball exhauast and Unorthodox pulley set; crank/ ps/alt)..let me know wat you guys think and IF possible..do you think any gains are noticeable..(as far as street racing is concerned)..thanks.

the only reason you would see any gains would be because the b18c cams are more aggresive.

first, the GSR does not have dual stage vtec. it has vtec with kicks in at 4400 RPMS, then in the intake manifold, it has a second set of runners that open up at 5750RPM and you hear/feel that.

- you cant use GSR intake mani on b16

- i wouldent use GSR ecu, just get hondata or chip your p28

- pullys will have you replacing alternators evey other month and dont make that much of a differance, if you had to, id just get the crank pully.

- basically just get GSR cams, get the i/h/e, and upgrade your valvetrain. should be a decent boost in power.

it IS possible to use the GSR manifold on the SI but retarded, you have to change flanges, DUMB. get an ITR intake manifold, you can use GSR ecu, but i wouldnt, chipped p28
upgrade to type R valve springs and retainers and cams...not GSRs, and dont you dare buy and sort of pulleys.
